By very nature, man is blissful and
healthy. But, he has forgotten the art of staying healthy. When
we don’t know how to remain healthy, the body becomes sick, the
mind become filled with depression and the being becomes filled
with sadness. This is what is dis-ease.
Through meditation and specialized
therapies, we can change the body, mind and being to become
healthy. Meditation camps are to give the knowledge and
intelligence while the therapies are to restore health and
well-being.
Meditation works from the being level down
to the physical level whereas medication works from the physical
level to the being level.
The actual product of meditation is the
experiential understanding of bliss. One of the by-products of
meditation is good health, both physical and mental.
Meditation removes the energy blockages in
our system which are the root cause of all diseases. But, to
receive the energy and remove the blockages, the body should be
prepared; it should be made ready so that going beyond the body
is easy.
Both scientifically and spiritually, sound
health is possible for all. This is what is proved by these
therapies.
The human body has five layers or koshas – physical,
pranic, mental, etheric and bliss layers. Each field of
medicine acts deeply on one particular kosha. The reason
for the sickness may be in any one of the koshas. The
following chart shows the various koshas and the
associated field of medicine.
Ayurveda, Siddha, Verma natural therapy, dance therapy,
Alexander therapy, yunani medicine, Chinese traditional
medicine

FAQ
What is the difference between the
therapies provided by Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam and those
provided at hospitals etc?
Meditation is not contradictory to medicine; it is
complementary. Medicine addresses the disease from any one
particular kosha or layer. These therapies are based in
the bliss layer or anandamaya kosha and act deeply from
the bliss zone. They thus speed up the healing process by
complementing the medicine and increasing the body immunity.
