Nithya Spiritual Healing- Devotee's Guidelines

  1. Understand and acknowledge that the practice of Nithya Spiritual Healing is a religious and spiritual prayer and meditation service only. It does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of any medical or psychological conditions and does not involve the use of any physical intervention or manipulation of the human body. Any benefit that an individual experiences comes from within him or herself, based on his or her body's ability to heal on its own.
  2. Do not make any guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding the outcome of the Nithya Spiritual Healing process, and specifically do not claim that the process in any way diagnoses, treats, heals, cures or prevents any disease, illness, injury, or physical or mental condition.
  3. Do not use the word "Patient" to describe someone who elects to receive your Nithya Spiritual Healing services.
  4. If you are a licensed physician or other licensed health care practitioner, advise anyone to whom you are providing Nithya Spiritual Healing services that such services do not constitute diagnosis, care or treatment or the practice of medicine or any other health care profession. Further, do not engage or claim to engage in medical diagnosis, care or treatment or in the practice of medicine or any other health care profession in conjunction with any of your activities as an Nithya Spiritual Healing Practitioner.
  5. Collect and maintain on file duly executed forms consenting to the services you perform as an Nithya Spiritual Healing Practitioner and releasing yourself, Dhyanapeetam, Nithyananda Foundation, and Swamiji from liability arising from the services. Consult an attorney to ensure that the forms are appropriate, given the laws applicable in the areas where you will be providing services. Be aware that such laws may change from time to time.
  6. Understand and acknowledge that your participation in the Nithya Spiritual Healing program is on a voluntary basis. Do not charge or accept any fees for Nithya Spiritual Healing services you may provide to others.
  7. Understand and acknowledge that you, as an individual practitioner, are responsible for any Nithya Spiritual Healing services you provide. Neither Dhyanapeetam, Swamiji, Nithyananda Foundation, or any sister organizations of Dhyanapeetam and Nithyananda Foundation are responsible or liable for any consequences, claims or damages, direct or indirect, arising from the spiritual healing services that you provide to other individuals.
  8. Do not provide Nithya Spiritual Healing services if you are suffering from any physical, mental, or psychological disorders or taking any medicines for any physical, mental, or psychological disorders.
  9. If you become aware that an individual who has requested your Nithya Spiritual Healing services appears to suffer from a mental disorder, do not provide Nithya Spiritual Healing services and recommend that he or she seek attention from an appropriate licensed health care practitioner or mental health care provider.
  10. Dhyanapeetam reserves the right to make amendments or changes to the Nithya Spiritual Healing guidelines from time to time. The practitioner agrees to adhere to any such changes in the guidelines published by Dhyanapeetam and also agrees periodically to visit the Dhyanapeetam website to update him/herself with respect to any changes.
