Welfare Poojas at the ashram...

In the ashram in Bangalore, one can find a 600 year-old Banyan tree which is the Energy hub of the ashram. Under the banyan stands the diety - Lord Anandeshwar, which is the primordial Guru or Lord Dakshinamurthy. Also found is a Svyambhu Lingam (self-created form of Lord Shiva) worshipped by people for years together, which was consecrated by Swamiji.

The following Puja-s are performed by the brahmacharis of the ashram to Lord Anandeshwar for the public:-

  • Healing Puja: Special worship for relief from physical and mental illness. During this puja, the brahmacharis chant a special mantra energized by Swamiji for the well-being of the person.
  • Kubera Puja: Special worship for prosperity in existing and newly started ventures in professions, industry and trade.
  • Family welfare Puja: This is offered on occasions like the birthdays, marriage anniversaries, etc. of the family members.
  • Guru Puja: Puja offered to the Guru on every Thursday as a thanksgiving.
  • Full Moon / New Moon Puja: Performed for fulfillment of specific desires on two days - the day on which the full orb of the moon is seen and the day on which there is no moon, in a lunar month.

Devotees who wish to join in the puja may do so in the following way:
You may send in your name, star, rasi, address and name of the pooja desired, one week in advance of the desired date of pooja to the Ashram address.

‘Prasad’ will be sent to all the devotees who are unable to attend the puja-s personally.
