The group has an early morning meditation and yoga session on the hotel terrace

The huge Nandi of the temple ever watching and guarding the main sanctum in the temple

The different items used to bathe the deities in traditional abhishekam

A devotee places a flower on one of the many Shiva lingams radiating energy in the temple

The group visits Sarfojee Maharaj Museum  in Thanjavur

The museum displays many ancient sacred idols dating back to as early as the 10th Century

On leaving Thanjavur, the group stops at a local franchise ‘Bombay Sweets’ to feast on Indian chaat. Yum!
