The group is served a traditional lunch in the temple premises on plantain leaves
After receiving darshan of the main deity (Surya – the Sun God), the group is individually honored by the priest
The custodian of the temple is honored by the brahmachari
The group arrives in Kumbakonam and practices Nithya Dhyaan in the hotel terrace in the evening
Later, the group visits a home where temple procession paraphernalia is hand made and hand crafted
